Green Bean Fries


For Green Beans: 

  • 2 cups green beans, washed and dried 

  • 1 bag cornbread stuffing 

  • 1 egg, beaten 

For Dipping Sauce: 

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise 

  • ¼ cup plain greek yogurt 

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced 

  • 2 ½ tablespoons of lemon juice 

  • ½ teaspoon of salt 

  • ½ teaspoon of pepper 


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. 

  2. Crush the cornbread stuffing with a rolling pin until it becomes fine dust or powdery. 

  3. Beat the egg then dip the green beans in the egg. Roll the dipped green beans in the stuffing powder.

  4. Lay the green beans on wax paper on a baker’s sheet in preparation for baking.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until the green beans are golden brown. 

For dipping sauce: 

  1. While the green beans are baking, mix together the mayonnaise, greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. 

  2. Put the dipping sauce in the fridge for 30 minutes. 

Serve the green bean fries with the dipping sauce.
